Cards are always a challenge for some of us. When it comes to cards for men, the challenge can be even greater. Nicole made a card for you today that I would personally classify as an all-rounder. In her following step by step guide you can see how you can easily imitate it yourself.
In the first step I covered a piece of grey cardboard with a sheet of design paper from the Paper Pad “Victoriana” from 13@rts. As structure I use the stencil “Blizzard of Dots” from 13@rts with the “Paper Texture Paste” from Finnabair. Then I sprinkle the embossing powder of Lindy’s “Midnight Copper” from the “Autumn Leaves Set” onto the still wet paste, which I melt with a heat gun.
Preparation of the embellishments……… the Chipboard Doily frame from Scrapiniec, the Chipboard gears from Snip Art and castings of the Mould “Mechanica” from Finnabair I prepared with the “Rust Effect Pastes” from Finnabair.
Now a few cut out elements from the Paper Pad “Victoriana” found its place. As well as a writing from the “Quote Chips” set by Tim Holtz. Last but not least some highlights with the waxes “Fire Ruby” and “Vintage Silk” from Finnabair.
It’s so easy to create a card that you can give away for every occasion.
