“Enjoy the Beauty” canvas by Nicole

Hello everyone 😃

Nicole has created a canvas for you and called it “Enjoy the Beauty”. Isn’t it fantastic? Here you can see how she went step by step. I wish you a lot of fun imitating it.

Nicole first colored her canvas with a layer of black Gesso. Then she added texture to the canvas with Finnabair Texture Paste.

In addition, she has cut out four squares of grey cardboard. With the Stencil Burlap by Dusty Attic as well as Paper Texture Paste by Finnabair and a few chipboard leftovers she also got some structure.

When everything was dry, Nicole coloured the squares with the Impasto Paint “Jade” from Finnabair.

When the Impasto Paint had dried, the grey cardboard squares were covered with a layer of watercolour paint. For this Nicole used black and brown. Leave everything to dry completely.

When everything was well dried, Nicole gave here and there clear water on the surface and reactivated the watercolor. Now she could dab the watercolor to get this result. Of course it is up to you how much or how little you want to dab.

She worked the edge of the canvas with the “Brown Rust” rust effect paste. Afterwards she spread some Impasto Paint “Jade” here and there. With the metallic paint “Bronze” by Fabrika Decoru Nicole brought brilliance to her project.
She created the rest of her canvas with bottle caps from Finnabair as well as the mechanicals “Winged” and “Mini Hardware”. Homemade Foamiran flowers were also a must.
In the last step Nicole used a nice saying from the Art Daily Sticker Pad “Sentiments” and with a few Micro Beads applied even more structure.
