today I want to share with you my altered violin using the latest Mintay Papers collection „Day by Day“.
I know that we seldom thought of using paper to decorate a MDF, but I think it would be fun and also very delicate. So here I tried it and the result is very satisfying!
I actually used two of the MDF violin here to create more dimension. I just glued them on the top of each other.
Then I put white gesso on the whole surface, after that sprayed with multiple Lindy’s gang colors to create the vintage and grungy look. Then I used Impasto paint to add some matte tone for it .
I used the element page in Mintay ’s „Day by Day“ collection as the decoration. I used one of the background pages on random area and used gesso to tone them down. These flowers are simply gorgeous so I cut more fm the other page in this collection.
